Fieldnotes Template Pages
The web pages listed below can be used to put your fieldnotes online and into the fieldnote database.To use these programs, first create your fieldnotes using a text editor SimpleText or notepad/wordpad. NOTE: Please DO NOT use MS Word, WordPad or WordPerfect to create your fieldnotes. If you do, when you paste the text into the windows below, your text will include characters that cause problems for the database.
You may use SimpleText (Mac) or Notepad (PC) to create your fieldnotes, or you may just type them directly into the windows below.
When you have the fieldnotes ready to go, simple open the web page with any web browser while you have your text file open in another window. Using copy and paste (from the Edit menu), copy the text from your text editor into the appropriate text area in the web page.
When you are finished copying the fieldnotes text into the web page, you will be presented with a copy of what has been sent. You can use this to print out, or you can print from your word processor.
